Austin Weather - Snow Day

For the second year in a row we had snow in Austin and this time it stuck for more than a day.

Looking out from my front door is snow covering my driveway and street. It was really exciting because it almost never snows here. It was Friday and school was cancelled. How much fun is that to be a 10 year old kid with snow on the ground and school cancelled? It was beautiful and by the next day it was almost all gone except for the areas that were in the shade. How perfect to get a day off, see the beautiful snow and not have to deal with the downside people must deal with in the northeast. Plus, the next day it was 68 degrees and sunny. Another perfect day in Austin.
