10 Ideas on Conserving Water in Your Landscaping

1. Choose native plants - Xeriscape.

2. Skip the supersizing - Buy smaller plants that will grow.

3. Mulch to reduce evaporation.

4. Make paths porous with stone or gravel.

6. Put thirsty plants together so watering is maximized.

7. Plant and water when it’s cool for maximum impact.

8. Mound several inches of soil into a donut-shaped berm
around freshly planted trees and shrubs.
