Fire Island Vacation

We vacationed this summer at Fire Island, NY with our daughters family. It was a great place to spend time. When we walked out of the house, we looked to the left and could see the foot bridge over the dune to the beach and when we looked to the right, we could see the shops and the pier on the other side of the island. We stayed at Ocean Beach and hope to go back again every summer.

RETHINKING THE AMERICAN DREAM
According to a recent survey by Coldwell Banker Real Estate:
72 percent surveyed say they have greater respect for home ownership.
86 percent agree that buyers are more likely to reconsider how much home they can afford.

As you can see from the chart above, there are fewer homes available for sale, more of them are selling and they are selling for higher prices than this time last year.
