According to an article in the May 2013 issue of Texas REALTOR magazine,
4 out of 5 smartphone users check their phone within 15 minutes of
waking up! Is that crazy? That's what I do. So much real estate business
is emailed to me after midnight (from other REALTORs and prospective
clients) that I step out of bed, walk to my my phone at night and check
my email. It helps me prepare for the day to know what priorities need
to be set based on what was sent while I slept.
Moving forward, I check email on my phone every hour so if a client,
other agent or vendor has a need, I'm available and can respond quickly
and responsibly. I try to return calls and texts as they come because
I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to wait for a response and I
imagine most are not more patient than I.
