The University of Texas at Austin is hosting its13th annual Explore
UT, a day of events, performances, exhibits, lectures and activities
for the entire family. We offer you an introduction to university life
in our classrooms and laboratories, studios and performance halls,
museums and extensive library collections. With nearly 400 events and
activities happening across campus, there is something for everyone.
Children can test their skills while making liquid nitrogen ice cream,
creating a butterfly, building a popsicle catapult, designing
miniature solar cars and engaging in dozens of other activities. High
schoolers can meet with advisers, faculty and students to learn about
everything from degree plans to financial aid. Parents and teachers
can enjoy a variety of cultural events, exhibits, performances,
museums and lectures.

The 13th annual Heart of Texas Quadruple Bypass music festival is
FREE, and features the best in unsigned talent that Austin and the
surrounding southwest region have to offer, as well as some of the
best indie artists from across the US and beyond. Over 30,000
entertainment professionals and 200,000 people are expected to attend
the ten days of interactive multi media, film, and music events,
conferences, and trade shows.
