Movies in the Park. Each Wednesday in September @7:30pm
since 2001, the Alamo Drafthouse has teamed up with the 
Austin Parks Foundation to present Movies at Republic Square - FREE. Showing this month: Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Wizard, The Last Starfighter, and Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. Dogs, picnics, and lawn chairs are welcome. Alcoholic beverages, glass and styrofoam are not permitted in the park. Republic Square Park @ 4th and Guadalupe.

Summer Film Series @ The Paramount. Thursday, Sept. 
2nd - Sunday, Sept. 12th at various times. See classic movies on the big screen at the historical Paramount Theatre. September’s line up includes Vertigo, The Big Lebowski, When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, and Gone With the Wind. Tickets cost $7.00 - $9.00. 713 Congress Ave. (512) 472-2901.

2nd Annual Texas IT Play Day. Thursday, Sept. 16th 2pm. Come look at, play with and demo the newest technology for your business. Pecan Street Festival. Saturday, Sept. 25th 11am - 10pm & Sunday, Sep 26th 11am - 8pm. In it’s 29th year, the Pecan Street Festival attracts hundreds of vendors selling art, jewelry, clothing, food, and much more. Live music all day long - FREE. Downtown 6th Street
