We are buying a new home!
Time goes by so fast, we have actually been in our house for 23 years. With the kids grown and gone, we re-evaluated our situation and as much as we love our house, we decided that it just isn't meeting our current needs. We want a one-story, 3-car garage with a large and open family/dining/kitchen area for our expanding family that visits. Instead of down-sizing, we are actually buying a bigger house.
Yesterday we put a hold deposit on a lot in a new development! Will keep you posted.
UPDATE: The time went by faster than I thought. With a little over 30 days left to closing we placed our home on the market using my REALTOR, Elle Scott as the listing agent and received 2 offers within 6 days. With one under contract and a lease-back just in case the builder doesn't make their scheduled deadline, we are scheduled to move early August.
